SECRETS

A participatory, generative installation created for Nuit Blanche in collaboration with Catherine Mellinger, Damon Erickson, and our collective, Octopus Project. We invited people to anonymously write down their secrets on small cards that were then read by others into a recording that played from 7pm to 7am. The cards were tied to helium balloons, filling the space and the ceiling with the weightless mass of what we don’t say.
