WHAT WE’VE LOST

I was invited to collaborate on this project by Jennifer Dallas. What We’ve Lost is a collaboration between artists using digital technologies. The score created by Elizabeth Shepherd and Jasper Høiby was the seed for the character driven by Elizabeth’s haunting vocals and Jasper’s grounding bass sounds. Wrapped in a cocoon of the past we see a woman discard safety to seek the future, and step into the abyss of the unknown. I worked with footage filmed by Jennifer Dallas to create a fluid and slightly unsettling aesthetic by projecting it onto a curtain and re-filming it several times.
